영국 파운데이션 코스

수능 시험이 오늘 치뤄졌습니다.

저희에게 영국 대학 진학에 대한 문의가 자주 오는 시기입니다. 영국 대학 진학은 2가지 방법이 있습니다.

1. A 레벨 코스 : 3-4과목 공부를 2년 동안 또는 1년 동안 공부하고 대학에 진학 합니다.

2. 대학 파운데이션 코스 : 3-4과목을 1년 동안 공부하고 진학합니다.

영국 파운데이션 입학시험

그 중에 파운데이션 입학에 대해 안내 드립니다.

파운데이션 코스는 원하는 전공에 따라 과목별 모듈을 선택해서 대학에 진학할 수 있습니다.

대부분의 파운데이션 코스를 통해 공부할 수 있는 대학전공은 다음과 같습니다.

- 비지니스

- 인문학

- 엔지니어링

- 과학

1. 파운데이션 입학에 필요한 서류 (만 17세 이상 해당)

- 고등학교 성적 증명서와 졸업 증명서

- 9월 입학에는 IELTS 영어 성적 5.5 이상

- 1월 입학에는 IELTS 영어 성적 6.0 이상

2. 파운데이션 코스 시작일

- 매년 9월 학기에서 3학기 과정

- 매년 1월 학기에서 2학기 과정

3. 결과와 대학 입학

- 파운데이션 코스를 통해서 100% 대학 진학

- 2/3 학생은 러셀 그룹 대학 및 런던 대학 진학 가능 (대학 리스트 아래 참조)

l 옥스브릿지와 톱 대학은 파운데이션으로 진학 불가능 (2년 또는 1년 A 레벨 코스 추천)

l 의대와 치대등 특별 학과들은 파운데이션 톱 성적을 내면 지방대로 진학 가능

영국 대학 학부 과정

영국 대학 학부 과정에는 다음과 같은 유형이 있습니다.

• 학사 학위 과정: BA (Bachelor of Arts), BSc (Bachelor of Science), BEd (Bachelor of Education), BEng (Bachelor of Engineering)

· Full-Time학사학위는수료하는데보통3년(일부4년)이 걸립니다. 일부 대학과 컬리지에서는 Part-time 과정도 제공합니다.

· 단기 과정: Foundation Degree, Diploma of Higher Education, Higher National Diploma, Certificate of Higher Education

· UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) 에서는 영국에서 380개 이상의 교육기관에서 개설한 50,000 여개 이상의 학부 과정을 찾아볼 수 있습니다. digital.ucas.com/search
